  • Is this course accredited?
    The Motorcycle specific components of the course are not "Accredited" and this is primarily due to costs and small volumes.
    ASMA has in the past made enquiries on the process and costs.It is purely a commercial decision, not that the quality is not there.
    A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist is accredited in the USA.The American Nurses Credentialing Center has accredited ASM courses in the USA.
    In saying that, ASMA teaches inline with Australian Rescuitation Guidelines . Instructors all have the required qualifications and experience to teach.

    To obtain this certificate students need to enrol through our training portal and complete the online tutorial applicable to the certificate.
    Practical Assessments are completed during the course which complete the assessment requirements
  • How do i book?
    Please go to the booking page on our website.
    The available courses will be listed, dependant on the course a fee may be payable and this can be done electronically, some are deposits some are full fees.
    The booking page will tell you.
    You will need a USI to enrol online.
    If you do not want to do the recourse material and obtain the first aid certificate, please contact us.
  • Some courses are free or cheaper, why is this so?
    Some courses are sponsored by various entities, Some of the sponsorships have criteria so they aren't applicable to all,
    Some clubs subsidise there own members and these are only available to members
    Government departments sometimes sponsor class for which we are grateful, the sponsors requirements can change from time to time.
    Usually sponsored courses are titled in such a way
    If you inadvertently enrol in a course that your aren't eligible for your will be refunded.
  • How much?
    The Standard course fee is $145 pp, which includes First Aid Certificate accreditation, ASMA statement of attendance, ASMA patch, ASMA helmet decal, ASMA Pact Card
    A Minimum of 10 people are required to commence a class.
    If the class has extended travel or accomodation requirements these will need to be considered as well.
    Many groups have had fund raisers or found course sponsors to share the cost.
  • I don't see a class listed in our area
    ASMA is happy to teach a class for you in your local area.
    ASMA requires a minimum of 10 students to stage a class
    If you are a considerable distance from our nearest instructor we may have to add additional costs to cover travel and accomodation.
    Generally Classes are run on weekends but it may be able to have the course delivered over 2 evenings mid week. dependant on instructor availability.
